What everyone is saying here is that if you use the search button (or alternately, and better, use da Google with the "site:" operand) you'll find everything you need on this site.
Try this in da Googley:
what are the best modifications for my 350z site:my350z.com
That will open a whole bunch of doors for you.
Or go to the specific sections of the site, e.g., suspension, or engine or < name your interest > and read the sticky threads.

Well, don't do anything with the car that's going to send you back there. Good luck fixing it up; you'll find a lot of useful info on this site to help you do just that. It's actually refreshing to hear that this is your first car and you're not 17. Enjoy the new ride.

Jose, here's what I do to every car I buy BEFORE doing any of the "fun" things that everyone wants to do, including me.
1. Do a baseline maintenance onceover: Do (or have it done) a full fluids refresh along with all the filters. Oil, coolant, transmission, rearend. This always helps the car to run better and, more importantly, gives you the baseline knowledge of WHEN and WHAT was done. From there on out, you just do maintenance according to the schedule from when you did it.
2. Go to PepBoys or wherever and buy yourself all the cleaning stuff you might need and go to town with it all.
Soap suds of your choice, bucket, microfiber towels/sponge, tire dressing, interior protectant like Meguiars Natural Shine or similar, maybe some polish if it needs it, and good wax.
Clean and wax it, shine up the tires, spiff up the interior.
It may not do anything other than shine it up but it sure makes you feel good looking at it C-L-E-A-N.
3. Drive the car for a while just to see what it needs. You might find you want a new stereo or may feel it needs better handling or < you-name-it >.
THEN.....
4. Make a list in the order of what you want or need. Then work your butt off to save for it all. Hahahahahahaha. Yeah I know, that's not the fun part but hey... it's life.
All the way along, make notes of what you've done. Check into the site for advice or research. Look at what other members here and on other forums have done. Ask questions if you can't find what you need and ignore the haters. < ===That's key. Laff.
Above all else, enjoy the new car!

Take it to a race track near you and get some track days under your belt. You will learn what your cars needs. Most likely more power will be low on the list after a few days at the track. My recommendations are good tires and brakes, those are the most important for enjoying any sports car IMHO. Oh and the stock speakers are horrible if you still have them swap them out ASAP. Good luck and enjoy your Z

^^^^ there is NO effective way to add cruise control to a base model, IF that is what you are referring to by "the buttons". There have one or two claims that people have done it but no definitive proof to my knowledge. And on a Base, that is probably way way down the list of "best" mods. Best thing for you to do is look for a local Z Club - there are quite a few in Florida. See what their members have done, and how they did it, and decide if that is what you want to do to your car.

Cruise control system. It's been done and documented here:
https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-...e-control.html
And...

It sounds simple with "bolt-on the parts". But consider that beyond the parts, you'll need to re-flash the ECM so it knows there's something new going on and how to interpret the signals coming from new inputs. Not a big deal either but you or someone you know will need to know how to override one or more of the ECM parameters. But it's all possible.

As for adding audio/radio controls:

I'm sure there's more DIY articles here and on the web but these are the functions you'll want to research to see if it's worth the effort for you.
