Hi I have a stock 2003 350z.My first one it is plenty powerful right now for me.I have seen a "unichip" that is supposed to enhance the stock programming.Do these things work?

I wouldn't bother with that, look into Osiris Uprev. Keep an eye in the classifieds for used standard or tuner cables for cheap to save money.

Do a little research on this board and you'll find that unichips and other piggyback systems simply won't work on the Z. UpRev's Cipher tuning suite is legit, but you have to know how to use it. Nissan did an good job of tuning the Z and there's no cheap or easy horsepower they haven't exploited.
