It's official -- NISMO logo change...
 

I was hoping it was a bad rumor... then came an announcement regarding the logo .. but unable to open the line -- still hope.

Then, today, Thursday, February 19, 2004... it showed up.

:mad: :mad: :mad: :icon20: I still like the red sun.. not the red donut.

it's not THAT bad, it almost looks the same, for a moment i thought it was the first pic you posted, i was like, OMG, time to buy all the stickers that are left. :p

Yuck that sucks. I am not a big sticker guy in the first place but I can tell you I won't even sport any clothes with that logo....oh yeah they are not giving us the parts we want so why would I buy the clothes :confused:

Was this a wack decision by Nismo US, Japan, or Both????

it's not that bad it looks almost the same, but it did lose the reference to the japanese flag (which i'm assuming the old 'o' was). perhaps that could have been the point.

Probably some North American bigwig:

"What the hell is NISM?"

"Uhhh that's Nismo sir"

"Well that's stupid, doesn't even look like an o. Tell them to change it or there stuff won't sell over here. Nobody knows what the hell NISM is anyways"

"Uhh that's Nismo sir"

"Shut up already!"

Awful, just awful....all the symbolism of the old logo is gone.
