crash zone sensor resistance

crash zone sensor resistance
can someone with a dmm measure the crash zone resistance for me? I have a 350z that has no airbags installed and I would like to get rid of the airbag light on the dash.
I have already placed resistors in the srs unit for the missing airbags but I havent been able to figure out the resistance for the crash zone, and it aint in the fsm.

Can you be more specific on which sensor resistance you're looking for?

when I hook up a ohm meter it reads null ... meaning no electrical connection between the two wires -

No - I took the sensor off the car and hooked up the ohm meter to the sensor away from the car.

. If this thing isn't showing a resistance when unhooked it likely won't when hooked up. You are also adding power to the air bag circuit when measuring resistance. That's probably not the best thing to try.
Better off to try and measure voltage across the sensor and current through it. I don't think this thing is a simple resistor though and I still think measuring this is a stupid endeavor.

It sounds like Zion2999 is trying to treat the sensor like an airbag. Airbags are passive; apply enough voltage and they explode. The crash zone sensor is active; it sends a signal to the airbag control unit under a specific set of circumstances. Unless you know how it works, trying to spoof the control unit may be futile.

well, If its unsafe dont do it...
using google I was able to find the expected resistance for crash sensors for other makes. hence my hope that a similar solution would exist for my zed.

I googled the crash sensors, they all seemed pretty basic. some moving part breaks/opens the circuit when there is a collision and air bags deploy.
fact that the guy had no resistance in his, maybe his already triggered
