Rear end feels loose/unstable going over bumps
I've noticed that the rear end of my 350 feels loose/unstable when I go over bumps on the highway. It feels like the rear end kicks out and then it corrects itself. It also feels pretty bad on a bumpy road going 25-35 mph. The car feels stable on a smooth road, it doesn't seem to walk around at all. Any ideas of what might cause this?

Rear subframe bushing probably needs to be replaced. If you see leaking black greasy stuff near it, that's probably it.
Plenty of threads out there already on what to buy and how to DIY if you're so inclined.

Good suggestions thus far.
Would ask though, can you specify more details? Mileage, modifications to suspension, etc. Could simply be bad shocks, diff bushing, or in the case of something modified, improperly installed/torqued/or just came loose....
And that's relevant information that any/everyone asking for assistance should include in their posts for help.

Check your shocks and springs.
Check your bushings.
Check your axles.
Check your wheels and hubs.
Check your control arms.
Then your sway bar.
And check everything they touch or connect to. If you see oil, dirt, excess grease, charcoal looking piles. Something is blown, leaking or bad.

haha thanks for all the help guys. I'm definitely going to change out my rear diff bushing. Then im assuming the car is on the factory shocks... So im going to change those and then get an alignment. Im also pretty sure the front compression arm bushings are shot too. The car clicks/clunks when braking hard and when turning slow. Oh the joy of having a high mileage car.
