Default Things to watch out for when buying? Best year to get? Etc.

Hey guys,

A little back story here.... I've always loved the Z's but I ended up getting a 2013 v6 Camaro instead (yes v6, I couldn't afford the v8 at the time lol) and I've loved that car. I am looking at trading in my current Camaro and upgrading to a ZL1 Camaro (supercharged v8) but then I realized one thing I love about my v6 is I can have plenty of fun when it rains out. Of course, this is something that I wouldn't dare do in a ZL1 so I started thinking and thought, maybe I should pick up a used 350Z as a DD so I can still have plenty of fun and don't have to worry about wrecking my ZL1.

So my question is, what should I look for, what years, how many miles is too many in your opinion, etc.
Do they start having major problems past a certain number of miles on certain years, etc.

I did a lot of research years ago on the 350Z's and I know 07 & 08 have the HR engine (I hope I'm remembering that name right) but I wanted to ask what you guys thought since it has been a while since I did that research and I am sure you all know much more than I do!

Thanks!

They all have various benefits and drawbacks depending on the model and the year.

If your just looking for a daily driver beater car thats cheap I wouldn't consider a 350z... Should just get a truck or suv or something with a little practicality.
