Default Mighty Car Mods new project car is a 350z

I’m a fan of the YouTube channel Mighty Car Mods..and so are several million other people. It’s a fun program from Australia where they’re not spending lots of money and not acting like they know it all. I especially like it when they head over to Japan and you can see some actual JDM cars rather than the ricer styles we see in the USA.
Anyway they have just started a new project car using a 2003-4? 350z that’s lacking a lot of parts (like doors) but they’re planning to resurrect it and keep it NA. So it’ll be interesting to see what they decide to do. Maybe they’ll do ITBs or something weird..

Here’s a link
and hope you enjoy following along.

I saw this video come up. Stopped watching their videos a while ago. But if they are doing a Z I'll pop in for sure.

Yeah, I was one of their first subscribers. After a while, I felt like their success was starting to kill the quality of the show so I unsub'd about a year ago. I'll have a look at the 350Z build though. Thanks for the heads-up Kauai.

Yea it seemed to become pretty redundant and bland after a few years.

Especially the recent years, even worse when they started their like 3rd YouTube channel.

Huge MCM Fan here. looking forward to this one. however kind of bummed its a need for speed special... which may mean they won't be building anything for a track.

Interesting that the battery is on the passenger side regardless of what side the passenger sits on...

Did that make sense? Yeah it did.

Probably has something to do with the clearance needed for the battery in conjunction with the steering...

O and the fact that the brake booster and master cylinder need to be by the pedals haha

I'm feeling a bit slow.

Giving this a bump up. I watched a lot of MCM, kinda fell out because of school and work. Love these guys, and they are properly modding this car for sure. Putting some mad stuff on the car, they've accomplished all that I've done to my car + some in 2 days that I've accomplished in a year and a half on mine haha.

Also have to add... Jesus that was one big *** spider

I don't really understand why Marty thinks all Nissans are garbage and then goes on about how awesome his Nissan build is going. NOS? Two of them? REALLY?

And those headlights? That's the best they could do?

I'm beginning to remember why I unsubscribed to their channel last year.

Anyone else get the feeling they bought a full Z, and "stripped it" so they could quickly have the parts they "needed", and need to buy the "fun" "need for speed" look fast parts?

Just like in the game they are promoting?

I've never seen a stripped Z of stock wheels and 1 random door before the motor and trans aka the biggest cash items are sold.

Haha same.

I forgot it's no longer about actually having fun and building actual proper cars. It's about contractual obligations and scripted, forced humor as entertainment

I only watched the video that was posted and they seemed a bit annoying. Im pretty sure most YouTube channels are catered to attract 10-17 year olds because they have hours and hours of time to kill watching ********.

That's exactly how I feel about it. I'm happy for them that they've found success, which they have. But damnnnn... that show is like watching forced banter and product placement collide.
