First time z owner
Whats up guys Matt here im 27 just bought my first z (2003 6speed 83k miles)
I've had lots of cool cars over the years currently my daily drivers are a bmw e46 sedan and 2003 gmx yukon xl and I've got an 87 cutlass supreme drag car (nothing special 10.5 tire 355sbc 2 kits)
Wanted to introduce myself ill post pics later
its got a little work done to it
Fun car was a dedicated track car going to dial it back some and make it a street car that I can do track days/drift days in
While still driving in the summer
any questions feel free to ask

Ah, modesty. The finest trait of any person.
Joining a forum and offering his help if we have any questions. Classic. :P
How about if you have any questions regarding double posting or forum rules you ask the mods here?
And be quick about those pics!

Anyway, welcome to the community.
Pertaining to your Z, dedicated track car? How about a mod list and pictures and what you plan on "dialing back". Always interested in seeing people's set ups.

Your intro was more fraternity than community. But hey, if you can't take criticism wrapped in a bit of sarcasm than you're in the wrong place (the internet not just this forum).
Regardless, welcome. I'd like to see a photo of the fleet as well.

Don't worry, first impressions aren't a strong suit in this community, but you adapt quick to the ways and things become smooth and everyone gets along. My first impressions weren't that great either but you warm up to the guys after a couple of ignorant posts.
Anyway, welcome to the community.

dial back is mostly in the comfort and convenience area as the dash and guages and hvac controls are the extent of whats inside
So far it's got
tein mono flex coilovers
graffti motorsport "k" 4 point harness bar
Omp seats and harnesses (only drive side installed)
sparco d383 wheel
nrg quick release and adapter
kinetix intake
short/mid length headers i don't remember the brand off hand with matching mid/cat delete pipes
stillen exhaust from there back
no name cold air intake
Zex 75 shot wet, on a window switch
and properly tuned at local dyno shop
I'm sure im missing a bunch bought the car off a buddy so I've been on track with it since stock a year ago and its been done right from what I can tell no million hp tire fryer but a blast on a road course and it came with most of the stock stuff so should have plenty of spare parts to find a happy middle ground to play on the street and hit a couple drift events this summer

And if you want to bury the hatchet in this forum, just post up some pix of a Corvette C6 or steer the general conversation in that direction. Works everytime...

Curious how your clearance is with that front splitter? I bought a CF one from APR years ago and it never got installed. My bodyshop said it would'nt work with my current setup and my car's been lowered slightly as well.
