Default Gas pedal not going all the way down

I’m not quite sure if anyone has had this problem I’m having a hard time finding anyone else who has one similar. My 350z’s gas pedal doesn’t go all the way down, it goes about halfway down (if you’ve ever tried to press your gas pedal with the car turned off it’s about the same). My check engine light isn’t on, I’m having no other real issues I can still get high rpms using my slap shift (I drive an automatic) and I can reach high speeds so I don’t think it’s in limp mode, but it’s becoming a pain the longer it goes on, any ideas or thoughts would be really appreciated

Welcome- have you done any other troubleshooting? Are you able to take on this repair yourself? I suggest you disconnect your battery if you decide to take this on yourself. Reach underneath the dash and unbolt your Zs gas pedal to examine the throttle sensor and linkage. Use a flashlight and 10mm wrench to remove it and carefully unplug the cable to do this inspection. You may need to replace the gas pedal and sensor if the linkage or sensor is damaged.

I haven’t attempted to check anything with my gas pedal yet I’ll try to do that tomorrow thanks for the idea
