Default My 350z sounds like it’s performance cammed/super rough idle

So let me start off by saying bought this well maintained 03’ 350z about 2 weeks ago the previous owner had a problem with a cylinder 6 misfire and didn’t know what it was. He went to get a full tune up, spark plugs, coil packs, oil change etc. I purchased the z about a month later and I scanned it right away and it had one code, p0300 random/multiple cylinder misfire. Anyways the symptoms are. Hard start up, sounds like it’s heavily cammed, super rough idle (bad shaking) it’s idling around 400rpms. It’s sounds like it’s struggling to stay alive. Everytime I rev it to about 4K rpms and let go of the pedal, it drops all the way to about 200rpms (or sometimes stalls) and then gags and regenerates itself and goes back up to 400-600 there’s also a huge lack of power please help idk what to do it’s got about 180,000 miles as well

Are the coils working and plugged in to the correct connectors?

I know they are plugged in correctly but not sure if they are all working tbh, a random misfire tho it’s not telling me a specific cylinder

Look very carefully at the connectors to coil #4 and #6. Very easy to mistakenly cross connect due to harness position.

You could switch them, pull codes again and if they are wrong after switching, you’ll likely get the specific P030x DTCs.

But if they are corrected and still runs rough, I’d go through and continuity/resistance check each coil pack. If these have never been changed (or just one was replaced to fix the alleged #6 misfire), it’s not “if” its “when”.

tried all that but nothing, however I did try to clean the throttle body and it was working perfectly for a solid 2 minutes and then it went back

Very possible you have a bad TB then, but it should set a code. Try the pedal relearn process?
