Best Diff to buy for an base model?

So i’ve done a lot of research and it seems the best diff to purchase for drifting a base model would be a nismo diff. I’ve looked at quaife and tomei but i just wonder what people have had experience with any of these say or even give me some other ideas.

Are you trying to do drift competitions? If this is going to turn into a drift machine, I would weld the diff.

eventually but the car is my DD in a rainy state so a welded diff might not be my best option. i have a budget of around 700-1200

Quafe

If its your daily driver you probably shouldn't use it for drifting unless you have another daily driver on hand for when your fixing your other daily driver.

And for thethe price your going to pay for a aftermarket limited slip you could buy another daily driver.

DD and drift car do not go well together. I suggest keeping the Z for a DD and using the money you would spend on a diff to find a 240SX or something similar.

Quaife cost me almost $2k once everything was said and done.
