Default 2004 Window Motor running

I have a 2004 Z - and the driver window motor will not stop running unless I take the door off and disconnect the switch. After reconnecting it, the motor works and the window will go back up, but the motor keeps running again. So the motor works to some extent - it just keeps running. Is this just a switch or a relay?

Just curious if anyone else has had this issue and how they solved it.

Thanks!

You can try the reset procedure, and if that doesn't work, I would look at the switch next..

Had the problem last week on my passenger side. The limit switch (in the widow motor) went bad and had to replace the window motor. 35$ on Amazon I had a 04 so had to buy one with the button on the motor so doing the learning procedure

For what it's worth. If you want to do your own diagnostic before you buy a part...

Edit:
For reference, here's the sticky thread discussing the issue.
