Looks, schmooks, aside from the OE fitment that doesn't "flush" fit the tires, who cares anyways? Track V.1s with good tires WORK. Out of the 15+ sets of tires/wheels I've had on my car, only two aftermarket wheels have matched/exceeded the responsiveness and overall performance of my Tracks with sticky rubber. Those would be my existing LMZ5s and my RPF1s. Notice something all have in common.... weight (relative lack thereof) and wheel stiffness.

MicVilo, looks great, I'm excited to get them installed. My Pilot Super Sports are just about toast so I'll have the Rays mounted when the new set of tires comes in.

Also a side note, the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are just outstanding. What a tire. 20,000 miles so far, never rotated, grippy as get out, great in dry weather, never hydroplane even on oily California roads and the price has come way down on them.

Four perfectly reconditioned Rays just arrived. They look great! Very light too.

I'm concerned about the center caps, I might just pick up four new ones since the ones I have are 15 years old and seem to not really match. Probably faded. That'll make it easier to sell the old 7 spoke rims anyway.

Do yourself a favor.... get the caps. Putting funky ones on your "new" quality wheels is like a good looking person wearing stupid old clothes.

Ebay.... just make sure you get the right ones. I seem to recall that the Track V.1s had a slightly smaller cap than all other Nissan wheels. Try the ones from your existing wheels... if I'm right, they'd be a tad bit too big.

Good call. I just ordered them up. I'm not 100% on the forum policy on posting links but it's eBay item ID 181205007558. They're specifically for the 350z Rays V.1 track wheels according to the description.

About $230 / ea including shipping.

For whatever reason the fronts (18x8) are double the price of the rears (18x8.5) which is what led me to squaring these wheels off in the first place.

Now that I think about it I might grab one more as a spare. There's a limited amount of Rays out there and it'll be impossible to match the color from Transworld if one ever needs replacing. Right now they'll all be from the same production run.

Got them all mounted up. Love them! Handling is really nice now. Got the wheels squared up, staggered Pilot Super Sports and Bilstein B12 kit which sits about an inch lower than stock.
