Is your car a stick or auto ? The stick car has 2 sensors on each bank

jangel350z 06-05-2018 08:40 AM

Yes its a stick

khnitz 06-05-2018 10:05 AM

Then, since you have a stick, did you replace both cam sensors on each bank?

When I experienced the problem you describe, I had to replace both camshaft sensors and both crankshaft sensors. I started by replacing only one bank (identified by the code), but the fix was replacing all four sensors. My car had close to 90k miles when I did this.

if you have a factory intake , see if the tube that has the PVC hook up on the tube itself, is cracked .

maybe use Nissan sensors?!?

WYZIWYG 06-07-2018 06:39 AM

Use the OEM Nissan sensors and save yourself the headache. If one is bad, replace all of them plus the crankshaft. Mine went at about 114k[?]

Thanks everyone and I did replace with nissan part but the other sensors I will replace with nissan parts and let you know if this solved the problem

Did it solve the problem?
I just got a pending code p0345. Hard start on warm engine and power is lagging a little in low rpms.
How many of ya'll that have had this code had to replace all the cam and crank shaft sensors?
