Alrighty here's the deal:
2006 350Z Up-rev lightened flywheel full exhaust, intake spacers, port polish intake, throttle body etc. etc. etc.

The question: I want to use HpTuners as they have released support for the 07 and up Z's.

Can I.....switch the 2007 ecu into a 2006?? I know that I will have to "dead-head" the adapters for the second throttle body and a few other things.... but I also know I can tune out most of those missing data streams.

Not definitive but going to say no since the DE '03-06 and HR '07+ engines are very different both in physical configuration and completely different tune for the different config. Someone else might be able confirm or blast holes in this but I'm 90% certain this is the case.

Thanks, I figured it wouldn't be a joyous occasion but, looks like they'll just have to shell out for some stand alone goodies or a whole swap bundle.

That seems Like a lot of work for little return why don’t you just get uprev for those mods it should be more than sufficent.
