i did the headers on my 350z several years ago and it took me 3 days. (about 16 hours) You are going to be surprised how hard it is to get to some of the bolts. Doing it all from the top is going to be another challenge, i can't imagine that. Good luck.

the **** thing is, it yeilds minimal gains ... so you spend a few hundred dollars on parts, 20hours to uninstall/reinstall and you get no gains ... I dont know why people think swapping out headers is this mystical source of huge hp/tq gains?

Do people not think Nissan has thousands if not tens-of-thousands of manhours researching, designing, testing, perfecting exhaust flows? (and for that matter the intake as well?).

and Megan (and all the other aftermarkets) know something that nissan doesnt? or has smarter / better engineers working for them??

but good luck!
It was me. I did the headers along with a full exhaust. It was the biggest MF'er job I ever did. Not only did it take me like 25 hours, but I ended up spending half of what I paid for the car in tools, parts, custom tune and misc. pieces. Originally, I did it because I broke off the 02 bung on the driver's side manifold and figured I would be there anyway, so why not go for it. WRONG.
It was so tight and frustrating you can't imagine. In the end, I dyno'd at 256hp wheel before the tune and 270hp after the tune. Worst part is on the way to the tuner, I bound my airbag clockspring and broke it (setting off the airbag light) and lost my front chin spoiler on the road because I decided to wait to put on my engine shield.. I just ordered the clockspring.
