Default Help! Battery Dead and Both Door Handles Broken

I’m having a bit of trouble this morning because both of my door handles are broken because of the spring on the inside (I read it’s a common issue with z’s) so I usually unlock the car and roll the windows down with the key fob and then open the doors from the inside.

however, this morning I discovered that my battery is dead and the fob won’t work. I can’t get in the car my usual way because even if I use the key port to unlock the doors, the door handles are broken.

and obviously there’s no way to get in through the trunk unless the car is unlocked - which I can’t do because the battery is dead and there’s no key port for the trunk.

can anyone suggest any other ways I could possible get in the car?
my bumper is kinda loose, I was thinking maybe I could stick and screwdriver in to pop the hood open and charge the battery.

How about calling a local locksmith and paying him to get in?

The doors lock and unlock it’s just that the door handle doesn’t open.

Anways— I was able to get in! It was supperrr dead but somehow I kept pressing the trunk button on the fob for like 2 hours and I could hear it trying to open and finally it popped open.

Then I climbed in and opened the hood. Now off to get a new battery 🙏

Glad this worked out- now read the DIY section and learn how to pull the door panels. The door latches on a 350Z are not known to be a frequent failure.

Decided to delete this post as no need to spread knowledge onto potential or aspiring thieves. Unless you truly are in a tight pinch and need to get into your Z, I know a few ways without damaging the car, you will have to PM me and be an established member for me to share the know how. I own multiple cars and have had to get in my own cars due to the battery dying or misplaced keys.

It is actually possible to open the hood even under the situation you are describing. However, you will definitely make a huge amount of damage to it.
