I tried them. They put order on backorder, and still didn't have it after 6 months, so that was a swing and a miss.

Search by the color code. "Nissan paint code L40 Interlagos"

I bought paint from this place at one time, not a bad match (aside from "new" versus "old, faded"): http://www.automotivetouchup.com/tou...san/2006/350z/ <==but note they do not call it Interlagos Fire on this page so caveat emptor.

Thanks for these links. Before I order I want to make sure they have it in stock, since my experience is that when you order online you don't know for sure and may be trouble trying to get money back. The first link is in Germany, so can't really call them. The second link has a phone number that is not valid (goes straight to a voice mail without a message) so that makes me leery. I guess I can try email, but not a lot of confidence in places I can't reach by phone.

I'm giving them a try. Was able to reach them by phone and prices are reasonable. They custom mix their colors rather than reselling OEM, and that's fine with me since it appears Nissan OEM for my color is discontinued. Thanks for the link.

+1 for Dr Color Chip. I have used their kits on my ‘07 Enthusiast as well as my wife’s ‘13 Lexus GS. Excellent matches.
