Swapping VHR injectors into DE, do I need a tune ?

Hello all, I am going to be swapping VHR injectors into my DE. will I need a tune? They are plug and play as far as I’m aware.

I guess the real question is why even bother? There will not be any difference unless you maxed out the stock injectors already. Not enough information

I think any change to the air/fuel mixture is going to require a tune to take advantage of those changes.

Also two different part numbers - Is there info somewhere that says they are interchangeable?

^^ I got them because mine were already dirty and i need more room for my tune with my built engine. And yes they're interchangeable I think, same connectors and everything, same exact fitment.

I will probably just install them and for sure will not turn the car on till it's time to get tuned. Thanks guys, and yeah after I installed them right now they were direct fit.

Yes - you will need a tune/reflash, if nothing more to adjust the injector flow capacity. The VHR injectors are ~380cc/min while the DE injectors are 290cc/min
