Pcv valve help!!!!!!!

So I was driving yesterday on the 4th and I noticed a whining noise I stopped to check what it was I started listening around in the motor and noticed my pcv valve hose was collapsed (sucked shut) I assumed it was a bad pcv valve, but I was wrong. After replacing the pcv it immediately started doing the same thing! Does anyone know how I can fix this????

replace the hose?

Definitely replace the hose and if you don't know when the pcv was changed would do that while you are at it.

I replaced the pcv but the hose seems fine unless it’s cracked somewhere I pulled the hose and made sure it wasn’t clogged it seemed fine I will check for cracks

Bad hose x2

If the hose collapsed it is not strong enough... must replace.

FIXED!!! Thanks everyone it was the hose, I don’t know who put the hose on it that was on there but it was way to loose and caused it to collapse, replaced it with a much stronger hose and works great now! Thanks

I would inspect the other two pcv hoses just to see what condition they're in. Z1 silicone is good stuff as well, I have Z1 silicone everything. https://www.z1motorsports.com/z1-pro...it-p-4284.html

Where could I find those hoses

All Z1's silicone hoses are here - https://www.z1motorsports.com/perfor...-c-6_1022.html

You can buy some hoses individually, I found it was easier to just replace all of them.

I meant where on the car could I locate the other two pcv hoses I’m new to the 350z

No problem! The first link has a diagram showing where all three are. There's one at the front of the engine, you can see it connecting the two valve covers. The other one is behind / underneath the intake. It plugs into the bottom of the intake, and into the back of the valve cover.

Don't use silicone hoses for the PCV system. They will sweat. They also get very flexible once they warm up, that collapsing issue you just experienced will happen again. I tried some Mishimoto silicone hose for a mini catch can I setup on the PCV system. Advertised as being good for this type of use. I even emailed their customer support to confirm. It was complete garbage, the hoses just collapsed under vacuum and got a thin layer of oil/grease on them from sweating. I personally would only recommend silicone hoses for intake plumbing joints and the cooling system. Keep it away from anything that comes into contact with petroleum products (oil/gas).
