If you've placed a recent order...
 

If you've placed a recent order (or are about to do so) I'm interested in what story the dealer told you about a delivery date. I ordered a week ago and the dealer mailed the order to Nissan this past Monday. They said, however, that N would not "process" the order until October 1st and that I would be getting a confirmation letter in the mail from N in October. The dealer also said the car would not be delivered until the February / March timeframe.

1. Has anyone else who placed a recent order been told that N would not process it until Oct. 1?

2. If you have placed a recent order, what delivery date has the dealer quoted?

This is a small, new dealership and I am the first one to order a Z from them; however, they have placed several more orders since mine and have sold one or two off of the showroom floor. I have been fairly impressed with them so far, but am concerned that other orders from other dealers might be going in front of mine.

DEALERS are welcome to respond also to help clear up the process to me and possibly others.

i placed my order today and i was given a february delivery date.

I placed my order August 24th at Central Carolina Nissan in Sanford, NC. (MSRP). The sales manager told me that orders with Nissan are only available in the computer to be placed on the 1st-8th days of every month, which explains what you heard. Chris placed my order Sept 5th; I have an order number, an October manufacturing date and a 90-day (late Nov/early Dec) estimated delivery date.

I placed my order with the dealer on the 6th of September. I was told by the Gereral Manager that they have a 15 car allocation on the Z cars per month, and that my order would be part of Oct.'s allocation, and that I should expect it in December, and not to be surprised if it shows up in November. I was originally told by the sales person to expect delivery between Jan. and March. We shall see.

I ordered Sept. 8. I have an order number and manufacturing date of October. Delivery expected in Dec., maybe November, slight possibility after December. VIN # expected no later than November.

i placed my order on sept 6 and was told by dealer it was faxed in sept 8. he gave me a 'V' order number with a november delivery date. what factory order numbers are people getting for the October builds?

I got a "V" also followed by six numbers.

I ordered June 13th. I have an order number V331339 and expect December delivery. You guys order 3 months ahead of me and get it the same time or earlier? Good for you, bad for me. :mad:

Just got my order number today, starts with "V", expected delivery is Dec. Placed ordered with dealer on 8/28.

Does anyone know what's the latest date or time frame, we have if any to change something on our order??
