My question is can I run 265s in the back with this rim size? If not should I make the fronts 225/45? I don’t really want to run a squared set up perfer staggered. Not sure what’s the biggest tire I can put on these rims though. Anyone have suggestions on what I can do with these rims?

On that stock size wheel, I'd put 245/40F 265/40R assuming 8.5 all around. 265 is about at the outside edge of tires that can be run for performance gain on 8.5 wheel. (You can "fit" larger tires but the performance won't be there on a wheel that narrow.)

okay for sure I appreciate that so can I keep the two front tires he got on and just replace the rear with 265/45 or should I swap them all out for 245/40 and then The rear 265/40? And yea they are 8.5 all around

245/45-18 is too tall of a tire for the front. That's why I recommended 245/40 for the front, which is the same as stock diameter as OE tire. 265/40-18 Rear works. A 275/40 is actually better but almost worthless on an 8.5" wheel.

If you're trying to save money on tires, get a pair of 245/40s for the front and run the 245/45-18 (OE size rears) on the back. But you wanted stagger...

i was reading a few other threads and some were saying 245/45 was good and they put 255/45 in the rear. Is this something that could work

You seem to want to run 45 aspect tires for some reason. Is there a particular reason why what I've said twice isn't adequate?

Here's the facts...

225 45-18 25.97"
245 45-18 26.68"

245 45-18 26.68"
255 45-18 27.04"

So, work? Yes.
Best solution? No.
Up to you now.

I agree with this if your budget/performance minded. If you have a little extra money for rubber and want "stance" fitment without the lowering your car problems the 45R18s are the way to go. I run F:265/35R19 the 19in equivalent to 235/45R18 and have about a finger and a half fitment.
