Need a good code reader that's semi modern

Good afternoon,

Looking for a good code scanner that is still supported and can read all the codes on my 2004 350z.
I tried Nisscan2 but seems outdated and also didn't work for me.
And not looking to spend £250+ on Z1 tool just yet.

Is there something out there that can look at everything on my car?

Kind regards

I been using this scanner for some time now. Nothing fancy but decent for the price. I got mine on amazon

I personally have an XTOOL D8 that I purchased 3-4 years ago. It's already paid for itself after just a few uses to do electronic calibrations for throttle position relearns and an electronic brake booster replacement on a Toyota Prius. Xtool makes cheaper tools with similar feature support. I have used the D8 on my 2006 350Z to do throttle body position relearns after a deep cleaning and it worked without issue. I have also used it for general live data checks/diagnostics.

One that looks promising at a very affordable price point is the new for under $250.00. It supports a lot of special functions and has some nice live data options as well. It's not as advanced or feature rich as the D8, but for full system scanning and basic calibrations, it should do the trick. The Foxwell tool is also a good option, but I like having a touchscreen to navigate vs. a D-pad (so much faster/easier).
Cheers!
