What is this thing on the LCA...

Yes, I know there the front suspension of the 350Z has a split LCA (lower control arm) ... I don't know how to classify the two parts, so I'll just refer it to the B-arm (A-arm in front, B-arm towards the rear of the front suspension). There's a thing coming off this LCA, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what the hell it's there for:

1. Shielded CO2 cartridge housing for the optional Crossman pellet gun?
2. Dairy farmer's grab handle? 3. Clinton's emergency humidor? Seriously, I'd like to know as well. :) Curious little thing isn't it? |
Well all those could be part of the 007 package.... oops i wasnt supposed to tell those who didnt pre-preorder back in 99'....

It is simply a physical bumper to stop your steering at the end of it's travel. Lock to lock.
