This shows a 4 pulley set !!!!
I ordered this Polished Aluminum set. It arrived today with 3 pulley's. The power steering pulley was missing. The cost of it $ 147.46 . I called NOPI Corporate and told them of this issue. Ned checked into this and said the E-Catalog was wrong. I asked for the 4th pulley be sent to me or credit my CC for the cost of the 4th pulley. He said NO they would not do this.
This is my first dealing with NOPI and will probably my last.

I just wanted to warn others of this.

there are only 3 pulleys in the ur kit, as far as i know and on the one that i got back in june

There is a 4th pulley, it is the power steering pulley and NOPI advertised it as being in this kit. When I brought it to their attention, they said ,oh well. They would not live up to what they advertised on their website.

Why not just return the whole thing?

bk_r0x Mar 1, 2004 09:53 AM

Isn't that illegal?

alphaz Mar 1, 2004 10:01 AM

I'm not sure if it is illegal, but they should honor what they advertise and correct their website. Not just say, oh well, we will not send you the fourth pulley or give you credit for it on you CC.
So basically what they said was ...tough @#%$.
As far as returning it ,I would probably have to pay shipping charges and a restocking fee.

What I'm saying here is that NOPI does not live up to what they advertise and could care a less about the customer and customer service.
I will not do business with them again.

I've been ripped off by NOPI before too. I ordered a "New" stroked crankshaft for an aircooled VW. What I got was a crank with all the main bearings ground down .40 over, rod bearing .20 over and welded together. They should've mentioned the fact that it was remanufactured and I couldn't use STD/STD bearings. I asked for a refund and they said basically tough Sh!t because they don't make new stroked cranks.

I would simply keep the pulley set, but don't install it. Then contact your credit card company and have them stop payment. Wait for a call from NOPI. When they call, explain why you cancelled payment, and that you will return the pulleys at their expense if they wish to have them back. Otherwise, you are keeping them. Lets see if they go after you in court after they lied to you about a product they sell and then refused to rectify the situation even after this was brought to their attention. You may just wind up with a free pulley set. ;)

I second Wren's advice.
