Here is the interior of my Chrome Silver 350Z Touring model. The first person who can post what the problem is with my Z will receive a Hot Wheels 350Z and a Second Edition 350Z sales brochure.

Have at it. I have filed my second case with NNA in two days.

Slareau02 Sep 24, 2002 04:14 PM

you have the wrong rear view mirror

Slareau02 Sep 24, 2002 04:15 PM

That was my quick answer, it should be electrochromatic with homelink etc....Woot! I won

Aldous Sep 24, 2002 04:16 PM

if the wheels are straight the steering wheel should be in the 12 oclock position

alphaz Sep 24, 2002 04:17 PM

Could it be the wrong stero system ?

pointfivezero Sep 24, 2002 04:17 PM

You are correct! I have a base model mirror. Pm me your address and I'll UPS the prize tomorrow.

Congrats!

Redline Sep 24, 2002 04:17 PM

Your BOSE, like mine, is not really a radio......

pointfivezero Sep 24, 2002 04:21 PM

LOL Redline.....that was my first case with NNA.

Consolation prize....Hot Wheels 350Z. If you're interested, PM me your address too. It is worth it for the belly laugh.

alphaz Sep 24, 2002 04:22 PM

Good eyes Steve. You better believe I'll be checking that when mine arrives.:icon28: :icon28:

As much as I want a matchbox 350z to park next to my matchbox 360 and matchbox hummer. I have to pass. Couldn't possibly take another 350zer's goodies. Thanks though. This just shows you how obsessed I am with the car that I could notice that so quickly. Thanks again though.

Your call Steve but I have a pretty big collection. Doubt I'd miss one Hot Wheels.....

roberto350z Sep 24, 2002 04:26 PM

oh MAN. I saw that **** right away, then I got all excited, and there has been like 10 replies already. ugh!

thats good stuff pointfive!!

Slareau02 Sep 24, 2002 04:28 PM

Holy God, Thats a collection. I only have the playing cards Nissan sent me. Not to mention UPS from Cali to NC would cost more than the car! But then again if you want to UPS me your 350z I would surely take delievery. :) I would even deal with the wrong mirror. Speaking of wrong mirror, How exactly did you end up with that?

Boomer Sep 24, 2002 04:29 PM

Great, finally figure it out and there are a dozen posts ahead of me!

pointfivezero Sep 24, 2002 04:30 PM

Checking with the UPS heavyweight dept now......

....nope, they won't take 3247 pounds. 150 pound limit. Sorry.

I'm asking myself the same question regarding the mirror. Must have been the Friday QA staff!

DaChoZn1 Sep 24, 2002 07:23 PM

I immediately noticed the mirror too. I'm still waiting on my Lemans 6sp Touring and I knew that mirror didn't look right.

abz123 Sep 24, 2002 07:32 PM

Holy schmoly where's Nissan's Q.C. department.

brackethead Sep 24, 2002 07:57 PM

Don't be too hasty, .50. Obviously, you want the mirror you paid for. But... The electrochromatic Homelink mirror has a large footprint and it blocks your view when you go around uphill right-handers (esp. highway on/off ramps). I do like the Homelink though. Hey - the Homelink mirror's probably a few ounces heavier, so right now your Touring is quicker than mine!

Old Skooler Sep 24, 2002 08:10 PM

Bleh, I noticed that too, in about 10 seconds, even though I'm only getting a Base model myself. I wonder if that auto-dim crap is worth it...

Gish Sep 24, 2002 08:50 PM

I have been looking all over for that hotwheels 350z. I will take it!!
