Leather
Hello everyone!
This is my first 350z post. I have 500 miles on my new Track model.
The Track was not offered with leather. Can I order that burnt orange, black net leather from Nissan? Will they fit? Are the seats in the Track the same as the other models?
TIA
Dan Wilson

The seats are a bit different in that the touring model has the switches for the power seat. Your nissan dealer can get you the right stuff or as DavesZ#3 said, get in touch with classic soft and find your local installer. Just for reference, I have heard that classic soft's "pumpkin" color matches the burnt orange perfectly.

Are saying that the cloth seats found in the base, enthusiast, performance, and track models are already built in with non-functioning seat warmers?

no no, I think he says it meaning the stock touring seats have more than just leather. which is true.
unsure if the plugs are there for the power and heat, the switches arent...
the dealer can order whatever they want I think, so they could probably order 2 touring seats, 2 heater switches, and all the wiring needed. but your probably looking at 3-4grand or something insane like that.

Can you order a performance and then request the dealer to order leather seats from the factory too? Is it cheaper to get leather seats locally that are comparable? I really dont need the heated seats, but the power seats are nice.
One other off-topic question. Why the hell do you need to buy a touring model to get power side mirrors? That's so stupid, people spend $30,000 for a sports car and dont get power side mirrors. LAME!

If you're going to go with aftermarket leather from Classic Soft Trim, I would probably go with black.
I got a z enthusiast roadster for my fiance recently and was debating whether to go with charcoal or black. After getting the black, it seems like it matches the dash, side panels and floor mats better. Here's a pic.
