Nissan is doing a great job with their marketing strategy.:) Very nice indeed. While vacationing in Miami earlier this week, I could not help but notice the HUGE banner ad hanging on the side of a 5 story building. It's just massive!:p Right by Bayside too. Good area for that marketing!;) :p :D :cool:

Gotta laugh. I work for the company that makes the truck! I think that I should call that pic my 'bread and butter.'

Any more shots?!?!? That is cool! I wonder if the truck is carrying anything or is it just for driving around advertisement...

It's actually a Nissan parts truck, one of several that carry parts to dealerships all over the southeast from our distribution center here in Jacksonville... not sure if it's a nationwide thing but all of our trailers here are dressed this way for now ;).

Trout, what side of town do you live on? I'm still waiting for someone at the distr. ctr to get themself a Z. I pass it going to and from work, and would love a nice Z to look at everyday!!!

Where is the distribution center in Jax? Is there a Z get-together being organized in Jax area shortly? My SuperBlack Touring is due in december/january....but would like to see one at close quarters....

ShagZ, Jags are my 2nd fav. team, behind Pats (YES, I am from New England, RI & ME). NNA's Southeastern Regional office is on the Southside on Western Way, between Avenues mall and Baymeadows Rd. I'm still waiting to even order a Z, although if some sort of get-together were arranged, I'd definately attend. What dealer did you order yours from?

ok, Max already answered the question about where the region/pdc is located, yes I work there - no I don't know who owns the 3000GT (or actually I probably do know them but not off the top of my head - there are two separate entities there on western way - parts distribution and the nna region admin/sales/marketing people - I dunno but I could find out...
I will let you guys know when we have a Z there to drool on, I promise.

Max, I ordered mine from Mike Shad Orange Park. Any feedback on how they are? The guy I'm dealing with, his daughter is interning at my company, so I hope he'll be nice to me :)

If I had a choice to buy at any dealership in town, it'd be Mike Shad of OP. Coggin just plain sucks!!! THey mark all their cars up thousands. Matter of fact, when I went into the Coggin Nissan @ the Avenues to inquire about pre-ordering(back in Jan/Feb), they told me they had worked out a special deal with Nissan for the customers, to only sell the car for 3K over MSRP. I was like, "Yeah, sure you did!" Being you got the car from Mike Shad, they(Autonation dealerships) have a policy to not sell ANY car over MSRP to customers. Plus a friend of mine got an Xterra over there and they treated him really well, so I wouldn't imagine you'd have any problems. When is your delivery date? What color and model?

P.S. I'm up for getting together and checking out the Z somewhere, but got to admit, you have me stumped with the "PDC". What is that?

I ordered it first week of September, and he said I should expect a Dec/Jan delivery date.

hehe. PDC= Parts Distribution Center. Duh, should have known that. Actually though, I pass it everyday, and there still aren't any Z in the parking lot. Only one I had seen there was the black pre-production model a while back.

Dec/Jan huh. Hope its not a PPW perf. model. If so, I hope you're still able to buy it upon delivery, or I'll be all over it!!!:D

This might have been posted- but this weekend I saw a similar black and white banner of a Z (front view)...

It was on the side of a 12 story parking garage in downtown Dallas...it covered the whole damn thing! I was on a 16th story at a wedding reception Sat. night and kept pulling people aside to the window to check it out.
