I have now seen numerous posts on this board and others about gear whine problems. Just curious, are there any Z owners out there who can report NO problems (Bose problem notwithstanding)? Please list what model you have as well.

Nor have I had any visor rattles, and the seatbelt only rattles, on bumbs and sometimes in 1st gear. (I put it in it's clip and it's gone).

There is quite a bit of brake dust, however these are new brakes against new rotors, so I would think this would be expected, yet should decrease in time.

I have a Touring 6spd - tranny seems tight and shifts really well. No noise in any gear detected from tranny or rear-end. Now I have 1800 miles on mine and I did notice that below say 1000miles the tranny was very tight, but since then a few romps to redline seemed to lossen things up.

Alot of times gear whine from tranny or rear end is can be due to harmonics in the design or simply not enough oil.
