Default Starting to think that service department is BS'ing me

I went to the Nissan of Queens on Feb. 11 for the worn cloth TSB and a plastic piece that came off near the seat recliner. Called them a couple of times since and they said that the part is back ordered and it could take 2-4 weeks. I was like wow..that long for a TSB? Shouldn't Nissan knows that alot of people will be replacing it. But anyway, till today they still do NOT have it. I'm starting to think that they are just saying that and did not want to perform the TSB on my car. Sad part about this is that I bought the car from this dealership. Shows that most Nissan service does suck. What should I do? thanks.

If anybody have experience some sort of delay..what did you do? or what would you recommend to do? I know fora fact that it doesn't take 2 months for the seat cover to be shipped(even if it was from Japan). All they have to do is find the nearest dealership that has it in stock?right?

I wouldn't be surprised that a part like that would be back ordered. It's not something they usually change out and it's also not a recall. If it was a recall, I'd expect them to have many of them in stock, but a TSB is a case by case basis. I'd call up other dealers and see if they have it.
