Unhappy Goo on the side windows

After each cleaning of both the driver & passenger side windows, I continue to get a streak of goo the first time I roll them down & up.. It's a vertical line about 6 inches from the front of the window. It seems to be some sort of grease from inside the door panel...

Anyone else getting this?

I'm not getting that, but what I do get is a horizontal line that is about 1/2 " from the door.

Guess it's just a new car thing.

I get the streak as well. Somewhat annoying.

I believe in another thread, somebody mentioned that it was grease from the window rollers.

Michael.

I get it only on the passenger window and a friend at work gets the same thing on her new Altima.

I do get the same thing. It's really annoying. You just cleaned the glass nice and clean then you roll the window up and there it is....some grease is on it...ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

Count me too. 3/4" wide grease stripe about 6" from the front of the window... both sides....

THe good news is as you keep wiping it off it should disappear since the grease that touches should get used up.

I think I am going to get my windows tinted tomorrow, I'll see about cleaning the rollers while they have the door panel off to do the install.

i taped a small strip of a sponge slightly wet on the window rolled down the window at let it sit over night.
it looks liked it stoped the streak but tape the sponge good cause when i brought the window back up it almost came off
