Strange.. rear hatch wiper dosn't lift off the window..
 

The Japanese pionered the wipers that lift vertical off the glass many,many moons ago. It was so popular, the US auto makers all copied the idea... It's funny that the rear hatch wiper dosn't lift off to a vertical position.. It only lifts about a 1/2 inch off the glass.. Really odd..

What does the list think??

Well how the heck are you supposed to clean your back window if that wiper stays in the way? :(

Yea, i've noticed that as well. I just kind of lift it off and try to squeeze a rag in between the space as best I can.

Notice the wiper is mounted vertically with the free end pointing up. If the wiper lifted up, it technically could blow into the up position at high speed. I think that's the reason it doesn't lift (far).

I'd prefer if it lifted like it did on the 300ZX. My Toyota only lifts part way too but a couple more inches then now.
