Would this work to replace the rear hamburger i dont have one in the fron anyway but i'd really like this for the rear. Course the door handle finish would be the optimal design but chrome wouldnt look too bad i guess

To be honest, it did look kind of cheap when I first got it, but it looks a lot better on the car and looks "like it belongs". It will be interesting to see the new emblem actually installed on a Z, though...

ok i talked to steve from courtesy he said for right now it will only be offered in chrome. they have a big investment in these and decided that chrome was the best way for them to be produced. he also said this finish could be used as a starting point for the customer to do many different variations such as body colored with the chrome Z , black chrome or even a satin finish like we want. he said it was easier for someone to customize over the chrome finish than try to do something over another finish. he said the emblem will come with 3M adhesive like the older ones did and it is cut to the same dimensions as the NISSAN so im assuming my CF inserts will fit.
he also said they have already got a good # of preorders so you guys go and prorder one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i decided to only get one for the rear to to the fear of having way to many Z's on the car!

I too like, and have, the first one a little better. Although the new one is quite nice.

If only they took it a step further and did that chrome black/ hyperblack finish like on the BBS and RH CF tune wheels.
Still cool though...definitely get one for the front.

oh its easy just take a hair dryer and heat up the one on the car it will come right off then clean off any excess adhesive. the new emblem will have double sided tape on it all oyu do is lay it inside the indention in the bumper it should line up perfect. the only tricky part is you get ONE chance.
now the rear is a harder cause there isnt an indetion to line it up with . it will take longer but you can use the holes under the NISSAN to guide you

I'd probably get one if I hadn't buggered up my bumper under the Courtesy Z. I too wasn't sure when it arrived but once I got it on the car it really looked fantastic and I'm glad I got it. Might sell the second one though and get one of the chrome ones for the rear. Wish it was matte though to match the 350Z and my license plate frame.
