RPM's & shifting

After breakin at what rpm's will the majority of you be shifting from 1st to 2nd at? 2nd to 3rd? and so on.

I try and keep it in the 3 - 4 K range through all the gears

for daily driving or when next to someone at a stop light and a quick start is needed
