Thinking about getting my Z Dyno tuned to along with a set of breather mods (larger diameter cia, 75mm tb, plenum spacer) what would net me the most hp for the cheapest price?, i live in a state with no emissions laws so the cats can go, but i don't want the cel from that

Gains from an exhaust only will be minimal ( like 5-10 maybe). Same for CAI.
Larger TB, high-flow cats, angled plenum spacer and UpRev tune might make 275. If it's a DE I'll
make you deal on a Z1 CAI, pm me.

I'd definitely do the hi-flow cats, Invidia Gemini and Motordyne TD exhausts are popular here, if you can find used you've saved you've got $750 towards Enkei RPF01s. The Gemini you can hear at idle, the MD is the loudest dual made. Z1 Motorsports also has a Tomei knock-off
single exit that's great, and loud. Gl!

as for the cats i can just remove them and replace with any similar diameter pipe right?, if so how would i circumvent the eventual CEL, i do have hope for the cia as the one im looking at is a Z1 (RACE) cia that requires a tune, i dont really care for loudness personally

I don't care for the Z1 intake as it's pretty poor quality (think ebay) get RZG or Admin, or custom. As far as exhaust get the lightest you can afford, and LTH if you want to maximize hp.

Also you might consider etuning instead of dyno tuning, its usually much cheaper

Are you on a DE, Revup, or HR? Giving up your cats would probably net you some good gains. I know mine restrict me from getting the most out of my mods but i live in an emissions strict state. Getting a tune after going w a larger diameter TB and CAI will definitely help you out. I'm not a fan of e-tunes but it is an option and has worked well for some. I have a DE w similar mods you mentioned except i have a short ram air intake and gutted plenum and Berk HFCs and I'm only doing 270whp if that serves as any reference. I don't have the cable or license so it would be 800$, i dont think a dyno tune would be any more than 600 and i doubt i would do another etune past these upgrades,

DE, im considering doing a z1 etune since im using alot of z1 products but on their website they have good reviews but not on the forums apprently

Jon at Z1 did my Vortech V3 tune, it's reliable and just under 480. I have heard negative comments
regarding their E-tunes. I've been using them for 10 years, always honest good service.
I consider them the best in this region fwiw.

you went to get tuned by them at their facility did you not?
I know they are good but based on my experience their customer service is terrible, for both their products and e-tunes. I wouldn't hesitate to have them work on my car as long as I was at their shop.

Correct, I dropped the car. Their phone support can be hit/miss. If you're phoning just ask for Robert to bypass
the rookies, he's the Service Manager and a long-hauler. Hope that helps!
