Wheel can't be fixed, going after-market...
The crease in my wheel is too far into the drum. Once it gets near the center of the drum, it's a goner. So, I'm not going to wait the 30+ days for a $625 dollar OEM replacement from Nissan. For only $971 I can get a full set of aftermarket wheels which I've narrowed down to one of the two pictured below. I can't imagine spending $600+ on an OEM replacement and have this **** happen all over again.
I'm not going *bling bling* nor am I looking for the lightest wheel around. Each of these two choices weigh within 1 pound of the OEM 18 and extra weight is not an issue. I just want some f**king wheels. :( Do me a favor and cast your vote for one of the two wheels below. Please don't offer up any $3000 wheel choices because I'm simply not interested. However, if you do know of a choice wheel in 18x8 at or below $250 each, I'd be interested in seeing them. Thanks, kids. http://www.waynewmedia.com/350Z/imag...IGLIA_MODA.JPG http://www.waynewmedia.com/350Z/imag...a_r6_ci3_l.jpg http://www.waynewmedia.com/350Z/images/evo_ci3_l.jpg |
Between the two. Modas.

I like the Mille Evo's as they kind of remind me of the new wheels coming out on the new BMW Z6. Also, it kind of gives the car a harsher look which I think goes well.
|
I like the moda's also, but get what you like!
I had several people try to talk me out of the Lemans Sunset color, and I would be kicking myself right now if I had done that. Do either of those wheels come in a wider width? |
Modas

I like the Moda's

Very nice Photo Shop job!
Since you asked, I'd go for the Modas.........I wouldn't want to have to clean out those allen heads.... |
Modas. They remind me of the Yokohama AVS on the STILLEN SMZ and the rims on the Mustang Cobra.
The EVO looks too BLING-BLING for me. Michael. |
go with the EVO's my friend has them on his Audi A 6. there awsome and they look like there bigger than what they are.
|
The Moda's are great. The others looks, well, like a carnival ride. I just cannot get past the rivot look.
|
Modas, man.
|
I'd choose the Modas.
Can the tire pressure sensors be moved to the new wheels? |
Modas. Those Evos are REAL heavy. Did you consider the SSR Comps?
|
Go Moda.
I'd go with the Moda. It's clean, it's simple... it works. If I ever replace the 17" OEM wheels, this is the style I'd look for.
|
brad: go wider. (if the price is not too different)

Definately go with the modas. SSR Integrals also seem like they would look clean and I think it's in the same price range.

Do you have to ask?

My vote is definitely for the Modas!
I would also be interested in hearing if your old wheel pressure sensor valves reinstall directly to the new Modas, or if machining of the valve seat in the new wheels is needed. |
definatly Modas. Might as well go an inch wider while you're at it.:icon04:
