It's FINALLY perfect!!
After I don't know how many visits to the dealer to have virtually all of the TSB's fixed, I think my car is finally perfect. List of repairs: 1) TSB window streaks 2) TSB play in the drivers seat 3) TSB clicking rear axle 4) Re-set window regulators 5) TSB re-alignment and tire rotation 6) TSB replace top half of drivers seat due to premature wear 7) TSB fuel filler door release.
The dealer has been pretty good about all of these, none of it cost me anything. And now, the car is purring like a kitten!!:icon04: :icon4: ...just in time to store it for the winter.... |
hah, I thought it was just me.
|
I have the clicking in the rear axle but only if i let the clutch out premature (ie not smooth).....does it matter? I don't really mind it
|
you should get it fixed before you wear down your axle shaft and your rear axles seizes while driving 80mph....
|
...and they will get louder over time. Now that mine are fixed it's nice and quiet and smooth...
|
I have to ask, what is this TSB about the upper seat wear? Are we talking about the fabric or metal or foam or what?
Thanks in advance. |
well it just clicks like once or twice if i let the clutch out to quick and not very smoothly...otherwise it makes no sound while driving. I think it may be normal.
|
yea im about halfway through that list. i should get the rest of them taken care of soon

There is also the TSB for seat movement as I listed, this would be relevant to the seat frame. I believe this is unique to manually adjusted seats. |

Will they honor the TSB if my car has aftermarket springs on it? I am getting some humming noise while driving on the highway.

They would have to be able to prove that your mods either induced or contributed to a problem in order to deny you warranty coverage. This is defined under the Magnusson-Moss act.
Specifically.... Title 15 US Code Chapter 50 Section 2302 (c): |
Thanks for the info kcobean! So do they fix these things for free then as they should?
