A Must Read - My Car problems, and the Z's amazingness....

If youve gone on this forum in the past few days you may have seen the posts about the problems with my 350Z. Well today i had the chance to drive another Z, and all i have to say is wow.
Well first my shifter is even more messed up than previously thought. My clutch movement is way to far than the standard, and these two (which could be connected to other things) makes my car drive like ****.

Well now those who read these forums, these reason you see all the bad news is, because it bothers us so much. Those whose cars work properly are out driving their cars!
Now, my test drive of a "real" non-defective Z. THE NISSAN 2003 350Z IS A F*CKING AMAZING AUTOMOBILE. It shifts flawlessly, and is fast as hell. My problems with my car have sheilded these feelings from me, and hopefully when fixed it will be just as good. So just know..... The Z is amazing, the ones that work atleast :) Also know nissan service bights, and thats a big reason to buy the G35C. But it doesnt look close to as nice as the Z. Also leather is a must. Ive got a base.......

Good Luck all...... The Z rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Atleast finnaly i know now, how awsome it is, even though ive had one for a month and 1500 miles.....

I'm glad you got the chance to drive another Z. At least now you KNOW you have a problem, and what it should feel like once its fixed. I imagine the worst thing is being so excited for so long about this car, and then having to deal with thoughts about whether it is the car and if you made the right decision.

At least now, you know how good the Z really is. Time now to make sure Nissan fixes yours!!

So the bottom line... is the stick supposed to slide into gears smoothly? Or does it take effort to put them into gears... until you rack up some miles (until it gets loosened up)?? I'm confused. I, like you, am not really feeling the power of the Z yet. I'm not sure if it's because it's not broken in yet or because the tranny is messed up? I guess the only way to tell is by driving another Z.

I got mine fixed it took about a 2 weeks of bs to get it done. It is a night and day difference once the clutch/tranny is setup right.
