Will Bose be a problem on newest Z's?
I've read the problem may be isolated to to early VIN numbers. So if I get a touring later this year / early next year, will I have to worry about the Bose still?
|
my thoughts are that the problem is very recently fixed, and they have probably corrected it in the factory by now, but there will still be cars for a month or so that were built prior to the fix. the dealers might automaticly correct them tho.
but if your not getting one for a month or more, theres a good chance yours will be fine. |

It was produced before Sept. 27 2. Before VIN# T005616 3. Before VIN# T104720 So it will all depend where your car fits into the above guidelines. My Bose seems to be improving some. I don't know maybe it's breaking in too. |
is it getting better, or have you been listening to CDs? I use CDs not to get around it, and suprisingly it works well, as I drive it gets louder and softer when I stop. I like it, as long as the whole thing gets louder and not just the bass.

I plan to follow the test procedure as described in the TSB this weekend to see if I "qualify" for a new amp. |
