You just never know when you're going to need an SUV for those freak snow-storms over there in Hawaii, eh? :D :D

Just kidding. Hey, at least you kept it in the family! Congrats on the new ride. The FX35 is a sweet vehicle.

Does this mean I'm not invited to the parade now? I was still planning on going. I'll see you later.

Congrats. I love my FX (despite some shortcomings).

I already got the ok to go with the G club. I guess I gotta stick with the Infinitis now. :p Anyway, I'm having a blast with it. It's such a sweet ride.

I used to feel the same way you do. I always have had a 2 door Nissan car. ('91 NX2000, '91 240SX, and '03 350Z). After I drove a FX my views changed. This thing handles just like a sports car. I can't explain how well it handles without sounding like I'm exaggerating. You have to push one hard to understand. The acceleration was the biggest sacrifice. Although, it does accelerate quite well for a vehicle of it's size. I hate to say it, because I love the Z, but this car is a lot more pimpin'. There, I said it. Don't hate me. :D

its all good. you are still with the Nissan family. the FX35 definitely pulls well.

amallari Nov 18, 2004 07:56 AM

Some life styles changes after owning a Z; however, who said that SUV are slow. The FX is awesome it even has the same 3.5VQ engine as the Z. Also, the sound tone from the exhaust sounds the same. If I had to trade my Z that's what I would get but maybe the FX45.

I would love to have gotten the 45 but I'm not that rich. :(

Congrats man. I'm just curious. Why? Did you have a baby or something?

I heard the news from D. today. Oh well, I guess I'm going to be the only Daytona Blue in the club. Be sure to share your new toy w/M. Would be great to see your new toy at the Toys for Tots Parade.

LOL.....someone just traded up?? :icon6: Just kidding. Gotta start a riot over here on these boards. Congrats on the new ride and quite honestly several of us were quite surprised to see your old car on the lot. Guess you have to think of a new plate now eh? SPCLFX??

Yes those FX35's do handle well. BTW you can get a rear sway bar from Infiniti...the 35's dont have one for the rear. Also you can purchase a strut tower brace from Stillen as well. For the rears, you will need a list of parts...let me know if you want them. I can get those parts and part numbers to you. Its a cheap mod but damn good benefits. There is also an intake kit for that as well. One suggestion though. You might want to buy at least one spare tire. Pretty much no one in Hawaii has those tires in stock.

Best wishes and see you at the Toys for Tots.

All of my family and friends have been asking if my girlfriend is pregnant. It's pretty funny. She is not though. I just wanted a change to something sporty but practical. The FX is what really jumps out at me.

Sorry to abandon you. I'm sure you'll represent the Daytona Blue well. I'll see you at the parade with my new Infiniti family. Oops. Did I say that?
