I like the 370, but in a different way. I wouldn't mind daily driving one, but I'd like to keep my 350 as a weekend car. The 350 is undoubtedly sportier, and the 370 is undoubtedly more practical.

A 370z is way better. I mean come on.. 350s go for the same price as Civic Si's nowadays.. Even less!
Punk kids are getting their hands on them and for many many many people G35s/350zs are their first RWD and even manual cars too. People don't know how to drive them and how they react.
Bottom line: 370z is the superior car compared to the 350z. In every single category. Looks are subjective. I like the looks of the 370z better.

That alone is a HUGE let down for the 3.7 motor.
-Oh and I have noticed that most of the 370z owners are kids.. with little to no life experience..

my favorite thing of the 370z is the interior huge upgrade from the 350z, i hate on the 350z how i have to be careful to open my door so i dont scratch the panel every time, and even so my panels are staring to look like a zebra. in the other hand the 370 seems to have less head room? in my 350 i can fit my first over my head in the 370 i cant..
-exterior wise i love the roof line and the wide fenders. what i dislike about emm tho is that huge flat part of the fenders that make wheels kinda look small of funny from a profile view. over all however, if i didnt buy my 350z i would of def bought a 370z. its faster, lighter, and has better technology than the 350z.

i almost got one before my pristine used 350. i liked the 370z more than any other new car for sale right now, but the 350 is still more desirable to me. for the price difference of a 370 and a used 350 its not worth it, only 30hp difference in 8 yrs? the only noticeable difference in the cars is the rev matching downshift 6spd of the 370.
i like the looks of it minus the head and tail lights, i think it looks meaner and less sexy-euro than the 350.
i would like it much better IF it had the HP to compete with the current 30k+ market (ie 420hp camaros and mustangs) and the 370 is too big. i know it weighs a little less than a 350 but next to a 350 it looks like its 1 size larger all around. these things arent muscle cars, i want the 240sx size back, not a 70s mustang size. cars are getting larger but not the roads. i hope nissan reviews customers opinions or the next model z is gonna be a 2012 dodge challenger.

Absolutely. The 370Z reminds me of my E46 M3, not saying its a bad thing though. When they first designed the 350 for the first model year, it was a sports car. They weren't thinking about ride comfort, trunk space, interior materials, tire wear, noise, etc. Then they took all of the customer complaints, and designed the 370. It is unarguably (even according to Nissan reps) less "hardcore" than the 350, especially the early ones. There's no nice way to say it, but people BITCHED AND COMPLAINED about the big strut brace in the trunk, the rough ride, the sparse interior, the stiff clutch pedal, how loud it was, etc. It is no question that the 370Z appeals to far more people due to the changes that were made.

More powerful engine hardly makes a difference in this "debate", if you want to call it that. You can have a 600hp Mercedes, doesn't mean its a better platform than a Mazda Miata. Obviously the 370 is going to be quicker if it has a more powerful engine. This is not a "I heard from some guy who saw on a forum from someone who knows somebody who may have heard something". I know Nissan USA reps directly from the headquarters here in NJ, and am conveying what I have been told, not what I think. Do they think the 370 is better? Yes. But to somebody like me who tears cars apart and replaces whatever I feel necessary, it is subjective. I do not daily drive my Z and need the added practicality, fit and finish, and room of the 370.
Would I like a 370 as a daily driver? Sure! (Don't think I'll replace my Germans anytime soon though ) But I honestly wouldn't replace my 350 with one, for what I use it for. I wouldn't expect the same result doing everything to that car as is done to this. If I did, it would cost a fortune and maybe be equal? Not worth it, at least not how prices are just to have the same thing. That's why its a fantastic car to leave alone and daily drive. Keep it smooth, keep it quiet, keep it practical. Unless you plan on doing an all-out TT setup, in which case the 370 will make much more power, but IMO for what it will cost there are better choices out there.

I love the 370z but I wish it had a little more power.
The interior is way better than my 03z.
Maybe if there is a "rev-up" 370z, nissan will give it more power.
If not, by 2012 im going for an Evo X or Mustang GT 5.0

I was 50/50 on it when they first came out with the spy shots, but now I like them. My fave is the 40th Anny edition.
