Finally the sweet video of the new Z34 tearing up the Fuji racetrack is here. Video is courtesy of member "Shin" (who is the owner of Zcar-world.net) from The370Z.net

I know I did :D |
Thanks for the post OP.
Is it just me or does it seem like the Rpm's are "hanging" in between shifts. Thoughts: Clutch delay valve, heavy flywheel or just lazy synchro's? |
^it could be because of the new S mode thinking its going to downshift to rev match. Its almost like the revup motors. I hated that on those cars.

So what was the cause on Rev-up motors?
|
Just a few laptimes to compare
http://www.fastestlaps.com/track31.html RSX is still faster :rolleyes::bowrofl: |
I wouldnt take all of those times seriously. Not only some do look out of place, but remember prior to 2003, Fuji was a different layout than today, and it was a much faster track, so you can disregard comparisons between todays times.
|
well i couldnt load that webpage for some odd reason.
is the RSX in full race trim? if it is im gonna guess it's around 2500lbs? thats almost 800lbs less than the Z. thats two people from biggest loser guys. |
Its soo quiet :(

Another Fuji lap time comparison -- the Nismo Z S-Tune GT 6MT:
power: 300ps (I guess 287 horsepower?) weight: 3229 lbs (1465kg) The S-Tune 350Z puts down a best lap time of 2:07.28, so the Mine's 370Z beats it by 2.7 seconds with a 2:04.6 <script src="http://flash.revver.com/player/1.0/player.js?mediaId:135737;width:480;height:392;" type="text/javascript"></script> http://www.revver.com/video/135737/n...ew-fuji-track/ |
^ yea thats a vq35de with 19 inch nismo wheels and nismo suspension, regular 07 08 Zs are way faster especially nismo versions
