Me personally I think it is growing on me but not quite there yet. The fangs, the buttplug and it's 4x4 stance make this car look ugly. Maybe a nice body kit with some nice aftermarket rims and some coilovers would set this car off. But I am most likely going to wait until the next model comes out in 6 yrs or if I get sick of my 350z before then I would just jump on a 430HP Vette.

its funny how people are saying "oh the 370 would look good with just a couple tweaks here and there" but i find that with the 350 minor tweaks here and there were not needed. no thanks ill stick to my 08

I am on the other side. I thought the 350 needed a few tweaks, but the 370 is perfect right from the factory. If I was not so mod happy all the time, I would be just fine where it is!

Nice generalization there. Guess you can't stand the fact that people actually think this car is ugly. My fiance and my dad both saw the car and they said it was ugly to them. Does that mean they are jealous?

Looks are subjective, so if you don't like it, then there's not much to consider.
In terms of improvement, do you guys really think that 6 years of R&D along with technological advancement won't yield a better car. I sure hope Nissan can build better overall car in this time span.
For me, a car is more than just plain numbers and performance. It's the overall package, the way it drives, the way it feels and all the little things. I look forward to driving a 370Z to see how the car has improved in these aspects. I'm a big fan of the 350Z, but IMO, newer is simply better with today's cars.

Hiz-n-Herz is spot on, like I've said in a nother post you might upgrade if you like it and have a 03 with bugs that's wearing and tearing to bits but if you have a 05-08- it's not worth it at all.
The 370 is more technologically advanced and a pinch faster than the 350- no one doubts that.
Here's my break down of the Z community on here:
40% hate the car cos it looks terrible (of that maybe 2-3% are jealous, the rest really do hate it)
30% really love the car (and good on them it's not everyones cup of tea)
30% love the car because Nissan told them so or because they are Z-enthusiasts to such a degree they can't handle the fact that it looks terrible and isn't as much of a step up as it should have been and as much as it was hyped up to be. These are easy to spot- they're the ones that flame HR owners of being jealous and anyone else who posts a negative aspect of the 370z.
The car is here, it's what it is, you can't change it- just buy it or not. I'm the latter.

The 370Z looks so much more aggressive than the 350Z. It's wider, a little shorter, and has an aggressive stance.
As I expected, alot of 350Z guys are getting very defensive. This always happens when a newer model arrives. The 370Z > 350Z in every area that is not subjective. Looks, which is probably the only subjective area of the car, will vary from person to person.

Finally saw one in person today, and I'm not sold on the looks. The dealership nearby finally got one in stock. Comparing it side-by-side with the 350z, while the 370 does look more aggressive, the lines flow together better on the 350z, imo. I also like the simplicity of the old interior. Maybe I'll get used to it eventually.
