370z Revision?
hey, just wondering because i really want one! and to turn my 350z into a tack car...
but like you know her there were revisions with the 2006 and 07 models, like with the new HR engine, and the higher reeving versions (don't know specifics, i only have a 2003 :) but are there any possibilities or rumors or confirmed reports of something new coming out? it would be cool is the nismo went from 350 to 375 HP or something :) thanks jeff |
don't expect it they aren't even producing anymore 370z atm last i heard because they don't have the parts available. revisions probably wont happen either because of the lack of sales with the new z.

im going to put cheesy things such as stickers for parts i dont have and plastic top mount supercharger |
Well considering the 350z was 2003-2005, and then the revision came in 2006-2008 (total 6 years), if everything were according to plan the 370z would be 2009-2011 with a revision due in 2012-2014.
2012 models (if available) should be out during the month of October, usually. |
i dont think theyll stop production, just produce less
|
Knowing nissan, they should do a revision here soon. It is either every 2 or 4 years that some kind of changes are made.
|
The whole "stop production" thing is confusing you guys. Nissan briefly paused production after the Earthquakes in Japan. They're still not making Zs in full capacity, but they are back on the assembly line.

yea, i guess they stopped things till they can get back on track from the earthquake
im guessing 2013-13 there will be revision..i hope 8500rpm, and 375 hp for nismo fuel injection ... high hope i think |
As i've learn with all Z's. Wait until the last two years of production to get the best model. It happened to the 300ZX and the 350z. Who knows maybe the last year of the 370 it'll have three throttle body, 6 cams, 8 gears and a power bump hood to store it all. Just when you thought you have the best they tease you with more.
|
What if you wait until the last 2 years of 370z, and 390z or better model will come out ??
|
^^^ That will always happen

Last revised model: you will regret since the new one is out the next year. The best thing to do is get the first model of the revised version. That way you can enjoy the car a full 2-3 years before deciding to jump the gun on the next Z, and by that time the revised model of the next Z would be out. |
