is there any solution to loads of tire-noise this thing produces? i have done 2 test drive on different models and it is a pain in ears to listen to such tire noise all the time.
Nissan engineers are cheapening out on the acoustic insulation for the cabin air extractors. is it fixed or can be fixed any other ways?

I laid down and tucked in some extra carpeting under the spare tire, but it was the tires that got rid of most of the tire roar for me. I got Michelin Super Sports, which are expensive, but worth every little penny.
You can look at reviews for other tires that are well rated as far as road noise.

if i get the new one with sport package it comes with Yokohoma ADVAN Sport Y rated tires. Since it will be new, i will have to live with it for atleast 20k-30k miles before they give. That will be a long time to cover it. what to in this case.
If it will be a pre-owned, it could be replaced earlier while in the new one it would be atleast a year and half before it is changed.
can we apply plastidip or something to the wheel wheel. will it lower the tire noise?
thanks

People think it's so easy to say that. "Get a 335 and JB4!"
No. It doesn't work that way. That JB4 will sooner than later cause a whole bunch of problems, the car will display errors telling you it's running on limited power. I have a 335 Coupe. I have friends with them. Every single one of them who's done JB4, Cobb, etc. have all ended up with headaches. Apart from a bolt on or two, ECU tunes are not worth the hassle if you're not mechanically inclined to fix the problems yourself.

370Z:
-Good acceleration and handling
-Bad visibility
-Easier to drive manual transmission because of auto rev matching
-Generally reliable, moderate cost to maintain
-Decent mileage
BMW M3/335
-Feels really fast, good handling, most refined, heaviest
-Very reliable, as long as they are maintained. Very expensive to maintain.
-Swank, better-than-thou BMW logo
-Powerplants are pretty awesome (V8 and twin turbo i6)
-Seats more than 2
-Mileage is surprisingly awful
Corvette:
-Best performer of all
-Massive, excellent V8 with huge off-the-line torque will make it the most fun to drive daily in the 2-4k rpm range without beating on it.
-Tire eating monster
-American classic
-Most responsive to mods (arguable), but they are easiest to turn into absolute supercars, IMO.
-Can coax OK mileage out of them

If I were going to do anything about the noise (besides tires), I'd probably dynamat the wheel wells from the interior. This is an easy DIY job IMO, or any audio shop can do it.

As for the 335i coupe, i almost got one for $34k but when i drove it second time, the sound system won't work and suspension had some noise. So i ran far away from that piece. Even though it had warranty till 2015,i wonder if it was overlooked during the 127 point inspection, what would happen once i own it. So now i am very very skeptical to go for 335i.
Around my area, there are not many pre-owned 370zs available and its tough to find a 2012 z with sport package, auto for the color i want.
so i am waiting.
I think Evos are manual which i don't want and i don't like Mustang. No offence to its owners.
