Previous 350z owners
If you own a 370z and were a previous 350z owner, are you satisfied with the 370z?
What are some pros/cons of the 370z versus the 350z?
After owning my 350z for 10 years I think it's about time to upgrade to a 370z.

When I took a new 370 for a drive 2 yrs. ago, no offense meant to 370 guys, but I liked my '07 hr much better. I'm sure that If I could have had the 370 for some time I would have liked it more than I did, but I already had my na 350 modded (long tube intakes, fd gears, uprev tuned, sways). I really wanted to do some pulls vs a Z34, but never happened. I also like the 350 interior better; first thing that I noticed, I felt better sitting in my 350. I know it's a matter of opinion and there are some awesome 370's out there.

Normal daily driving, I dont think anyone short of a professional would notice the difference between a DE, HR and VHR. At the track however...My best times at Sebring were done with the 370.

i went from a 350 DE to a 370Z, other cars...then to a 350Z HR....
I can tell you that there is no noticeable difference, NONE performance wise between the HR and 370Z. Interior is better, handling is a bit improved, and exterior looks is really subjective. I prefer the look of the 350Z.

Also if you have thrown both cars around corners you will also notice that the 370Z is more nimble and has a better steering feel which translate into more fun when you hit the canyons.
Drive a Z34 and judge it for yourself. It is kind of refreshing when you drive one.
IMO it's worth the upgrade only if:
-you have a very slightly modded DE 350z and are dead bored of it.
-you are not into modding. The 350Z has way more parts to choose from. Going FI in this platform will be easier and cheaper.

There is a smooth, power bump on the 3.7l engine but I'm not too impressed.
But then again, the interior is a breath of fresh air. THe oem seats kinda held me down better than the ones on the Z33. Seeing the buldges on the body when you peep on your side mirrors make you feel like you're driving a really macho car.

I'm an owner of a 2007 Nismo 350Z. I test drove a 2014 Nismo 370Z, and I hate to say it, but it is a much better car than the 350Z. I wasn't really expecting to like it but I test drove to kill time while the 350Z was in for service. Now I want to buy the 370Z!

Interior is miles better, the engine sounds smoother and the cabin is a little quieter, and the outside appearance is a bit more refined.
