Thought I'd share, Skyline GTR @ Dealer Auction
My dad has a dealership here in Toronto so I thought id share what I came across when I was going through our next week's purchase watch list.... its a 2009 Skyline GTR. I might get it, not 100% yet. Ignore the repaircost, thats the insurance estimated rate which is usually double/triple the real repair cost.

17k n i bet it runs what a steal !!!
|
Im trying to figure out if its just headlights/bumper/fenders that are needed...seems like the Rebar is untouched...
|
Looks in pretty good condition.
|
That looks like a great deal if there is no major damage. From what I can see in the pics it looks pretty good.
|
Looks like it could have been damaged in transport....It can't be titled/registered if such is the case, which is why it has a salvage title. Whoever it went to from there probably removed the damaged parts for resale, and will sell the rest complete.
i worked for an auto recycling company for a while, we would get in similar cars from time to time. |

I believe you can get it registered, i don't know what the laws are in mass, but here all you have to do is get an anti-theft inspection from the state once the vehicle is repaired and you are issued a rebuilt titled.

In Ontario, you just need to do a wheel alignment, mechanical safety, structural safety, and emissions test and the car can be registered as "Rebuilt" (That means its an accident-repair).

good find, but its NOT a skyline its a gtr

Nice find, hope you win the bidding. Betting the car will go in the high 30's or low 40's, probably a Nissan dealer will buy it and have their own shop rebuild it and make some decent $$$$$$$$

Car is worth $35-$40k if we're swapping bumpers and fenders. New headlights
are only $1500 on ebay. $17k is a pipe dream, smoke away. |
Man thats rite by my house, wonder if you can check it out in person.
|
Hmmm built TT or GT-R choices....choices. I will just go fap to my avatar again...
This is a steal of a lifetime if it stays under 40k. |
would be a fun track car. Just strip it and run it track only. No need for insurance really.
