they made the car look even cheaper. <<shaking head>> the eclipse front bumpercomment is spot on.....and it's not even from the current generation of eclipses.....it's from the previous one.
You do realize the current Eclipse body style was out before the GTR was out right? Aside from the 4 round taillights... whats the R35 have thats signature from the other RXX's?
I think the GT-R was being developed well before the current Eclipse body style
I love the R35 rear and the R34 front, the aggressive headlights on the R34 make me want to punch babies while the sleek and sexy rear on the R35 makes me want to help feed children in africa

Actually the Nissan Proto Concept(R35) was introduced back in 2001... that Eclipse boy style was in production already, I have to say the new body style is... ummm forgettable (I totally forgot they made a new one... honestly). I will have to correct my statement of the "current" body style eclipse, it was the one before the new one.. after the last good 4G63 style.
I can see how the grille might come across that way, but the rest of the lines don't match up.
And where the GTR will have over 9000 horsepower, the Eclipse will have over 9000 penises.
Haha. The Eclipse blows. I was mainly referring to the side "diffuser" bulges though.
In the unlikely event that Nissan took a page from the Mitsubishi book for styling, Mitsubishi surely returned the favor for the current Eclipse design:

LOL at the new styling, they totally ripped off the GT-R with the Evo & Eclipse.

That arched front styling isn't restricted to Eclipse, you can see it in Mitsubishi's other cars and into Toyota as well (can you say Tundra).
NAGTROC now says that the oft-quoted number of 520hp is probably incorrect.
They say it's closer to 530-540hp (per their website), but, ehhh...who ever really knows these things, right? Nothing's ever "for sure" until it's actually released and driven.
