Emailed nna consumer affairs and this is what they told me.

Thank you for contacting Nissan North America, Inc. and allowing us the
opportunity to be of assistance.

The 2004 Nissan 350Z Convertible Roadster will be available in July of
2003.


In that the vehicle is still in the production stages, the factory has
not
yet released information such as photos, specifications, option
packages,
pricing, or an exact release date for the vehicle.

Please visit our website at www.nissannews.com
periodicaly for updates on the new Z Convertible.

They sure are waiting long before showing the final product.

That's true... I think they will be waiting as long as they can before they show it so that sales for the coupe don't slow. Either that, or they're having major issues with it!!

Pics should be here in a few weeks.
The convertable was taking Nissan a little longer than they had planned. One issue was cost, as it's price kept rising and rising and they had a target of under $35000

I believe you'll be able to see it in April at the New York Auto Show. There should be plenty of pictures very soon.

Wait, they arn't releasing the Specs, meaning it might have more/less power?? I thought it was the same engine

it should be the same exact car, just with a convertable.

It better not be -- that's how you get leaks, creaks, and a loose-handling car. And I can tell you, from dealers that sit on the design committee, it looks a little different than the coupe...but they like the look a lot.

I meant same exact car as in same hp... as for the rest I donno, but I do remember they tried to make the coupe without anything important in the roof. thats part of the reason for the trunk strut bar.
