In a past show, he gave a 2006 Z06 vette a neutral rating. He like the preformance but said the vette wasn't sophisticated enough. |
His Brit humor throws me and his review of the 350Z was bias as hell most of the time he takes such cars to the track. With the 350Z all he did was drive around talking about it was built in USA for Americans and what all he didn't like about it. And that it didn't seem that fast and took a lot of labor to drive. He stated that he didn't want to drive it fast on a winding road because a rock star crashes his Vette on that same road??? WTF.
Duh, take the damn Z to the track whats wrong are afraid you'd like it. I had an assoicate a American of German decent that was a fan of European cars, even the MGBs, Triumps, Bmw 318s and 160 Volvos he didn't want to drive the Miata because he was afraid he would like it and buy it. Stating some of his other snobbish friends had fell for the MX5's allure of flawless handling and low maintenance. He didn't trust Computers either afraid of technology. |
His dislike for the 350Z stems from a disagreement he had with Nissan over a Skyline GTR he once owned - he has been anti-Nissan ever since.
But I have it on good authority he will be one of the first owners of the new GTR when it arrives here officially! |
